By collecting precise data on the waste thrown away at these stations, NANDO provides valuable insights to help reduce contamination and guide better recycling habits.

How does NANDO help?

NANDO uses artificial intelligence to monitor waste in real time. Our system not only tracks how full containers are, but it also identifies the types of waste disposed. This allows us to give detailed advice on how to improve disposal and recycling rates. Through this data-driven approach, Grandi Stazioni Rail can optimize waste collection routes and processes, making the entire operation more efficient.

Beside this, our feature NANDO.Eye actively engages travelers by guiding them towards correct waste disposal at the station. With this interactive feature, travelers can easily identify which items go into which bins, reducing the chance of contamination and ensuring proper recycling.
